Who are we?

Lightworkx Photography is the South Island’s leading photographic studio, specialising in producing high quality advertising and commercial images for a diverse range of clients throughout New Zealand and internationally.

We shoot for many of New Zealand’s leading advertising agencies, corporations, manufacturers and small businesses – and all of our assignments are approached with an uncompromising commitment to creative excellence, quality and service.

Our team of professionals include two award winning photographers, specialising in both studio and location photography, a digital specialist who looks after file management, retouching, file preparation and archiving, and our studio manager who ensures your work is completed on time and to budget.

What do we do?

We’re a one-stop shop for photography and digital postproduction, our systems, staff and facilities ensure top quality results with a ton of fresh ideas and an “anything is achievable” approach to every project.

We offer full pre-production services – finding the perfect location, talent (street or agency casting), wardrobe or set-builder either locally or nationally – no problem! And of course we can photograph absolutely anything in studio or on location.

Our studio offers high resolution film scanning up to A0 size, ensuring optimum quality, colour accuracy and fast turnaround. Our experienced digital retouchers can make even your wildest and most complex ideas become a reality in print. Our ICC managed colour workflow (and our tireless commitment to perfection!) ensures the most accurate colours in print.
